The Do’s and Don’ts for a successful relationship ||
. 1. Never compare your relationship to that of others.
Focus on your own relationship issues and you will feel less pressure. Every relationship is different, some conventional and others not. Do what works best for you and your patner.
Communication is the key to a successful relationship. Ranting has a bad effect on a relationship but keeping quiet is just as damaging. If you have a problem you need to talk about it together and calmly. Never let a negative situation boil up.
3. Compliment each other.
Remember that when you feel unappreciated and taken for granted, your patner might also have the same feelings. Put some effort into appreciating what you do for each other, even if it is the small “thank you” and “please” remarks.
4. Embrace intimacy- in all its forms.
Intimacy is not merely sex. It includes eye contact, smiles and soft touches.
5. Don’t stop change
You will both change over the years, so give each other space to do this. You might develop different interests and it is still fine. You do not necessarily have to do everything together
