NBS TV Jounalist Sheilah Nakabuye Dead After Giving Birth and Spending Two Days in Coma

Next Media Services’ Bureau Chief for Southwestern Uganda, Sheilah Nakabuye has been confirmed dead today morning (17th May, 2021) at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital where she gave birth from two days ago and went into Comma.

According to Blizz Uganda sources, Nakabute on 15th May, 2021 delivered a baby girl but went into a coma after that and now she has breathed her last.

“You were an amazing human being and passionate reporter. You loved your job and we often shared a light moment when you were live for your cross overs. I hate that Maternal Mortality has claimed such a great talent.  You have been let down by health care!”- Samson Kasumba confirmed the sad news.

Maternal death or maternal mortality is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the death of a woman while pregnant or within 42 days of termination of pregnancy, irrespective of the duration and site of the pregnancy, from any cause related to or aggravated by the pregnancy or its management.
