Master KG Jerusalema || Master KG ‘s global hit “Jerusalem” has reached another milestone, earning more than 50 million views on YouTube.
“Jerusalem,” one of the top chart hits for 2019, did not receive a single node from the South African Music Awards (SAMAs).
Despite the lack of recognition of Mzansi ‘s leading music industry awards, the song got an international approval stamp with fans from all over the world jamming at the # JerusalemaDanceChallenge.
They spawned videos from Italy to Spain , France, Jamaica and Canada.
And because of this global recognition, the song did something that few locally produced music videos managed to achieve by reaching over 50 million views on YouTube at the time of its release.
In his Twitter account on Saturday, Master KG posted the big news calling on his fans to celebrate and said, “# Jerusalem has crossed 50 Miilion Views!! Let’s celebrate the 50 millionth anniversary together.”

The album was making waves on the US charts, including the Billboard charts.
The Limpopo-born musician also collaborated with Nigerian superstar Burna Boy on the remix of “Jerusalema” featuring vocalist Nomcebo Zikode. This also helped the single reach international charts, and the “Yo” rapper won a good favor with Mzansi.
In addition, the 24-year-old Muso celebrated another landmark as “Jerusalem” dominated streaming platforms.
Taken to Twitter last week, the star expressed its appreciation to all of its fans for their continued support, saying, “Thank You For The Love. I’m actually # 1 in South Africa with more than 1.2 million monthly listeners on @SpotifySA, thank you for streaming my music.
