I don’t ever regret dissing Shatta Wale on my Gbee Nabu song || Throughout 2017, the Ghana music scene experienced one of the biggest lyrical feuds between the self-recognized dancehall lyricist king, Shatta Wale, and Yaa Pono, who made the frontliner ‘Uptown Power’ release a diss song entitled ‘Gbee Nabu.’
In an exclusive virtual interview on GBC Radio Central monitored by Thatcelebrity.com, Amansan Krakye asked Yaa Pono born Yaw Adu Antwi if he has any regrets after 3 years of releasing his venom on ‘Gbee Nabu’ which was a Shatta Wale diss song.
He responded “I can not regret anything in my life that has happened. You just need to ask me something I have ever regretted before and it would have been a long way back if I had regretted something.
“It is not today I’m going to say I regret it. I am the sort of person who wouldn’t want to waste my precious time on earth to remember and say I regret it. Things happen in life and that’s in the past and it’s gone.
“Whoever has regrets can’t continue to work, so you can’t move on in life as well. I ‘m happy with Shatta Wale and by God’s grace all is well now.
