Serie A

SPAL vs Bologna – BTTS at 4/6

SPAL are hoping to build on their 2-1 victory at Atalanta on Monday night, but defensive issues could hold them back against Bologna. SPAL come into this encounter having conceded in 90% of their league games so far. That run includes each of their previous eight outings in Serie A.

Meanwhile, Bologna have their own troubles, without a clean sheet in their last 15 games. However, the Rossoblu have managed to see both teams score in 13 of their last 14, with the visitors scoring in 85% of their league games. As a result, we’re backing BTTS.

Wolfsburg vs Hertha Berlin – Hertha Berlin DC at 10/11

Hertha have shown a clear improvement under Jurgen Klinsmann. They have lost just two of their six games under Klinsmann so far, with those losses coming versus Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund respectively.

Meanwhile, Wolfsburg have won just two of their last 11 Bundesliga games. They have also won just three of their nine Bundesliga home games all season. Hertha have earned twice as many points as Wolfsburg over the past six games. I fancy them to pick up a result here.

Marseille vs Angers – BTTS at 10/11

Marseille are keen to keep up their battle for 2nd place here but they have quite the number of teams snapping at their heels which should make this quite a tetchy affair. Angers travel to the Vélodrome without much to lose as they sit comfortably in mid-table but they have been in fine scoring form recently which is making us back the both teams to score market here.

The market has won in four of the last five clashes between these sides as well as in seven of Marseille’s last eight home matches. Angers should also be pretty confident in getting on the scoresheet here as they have netted eleven goals in their last five games on the road.

Sparta Rotterdam vs Fortuna Sittard – Sparta Rotterdam to Win at 1/2

Fortuna Sittard come into this game still awaiting their first away win of the season, and with seven of those nine attempts ending in defeat we expect their wait to continue. Sparta Rotterdam have won five of their nine home league games this term and have only lost one of their last seven meetings with Fortuna Sittard. With the visitors shipping a massive 30 goals on the road already this season, it should be a fairly comfortable win for the hosts.
