Always controversial Ghanaian counsellor Cyril George Lutterodt has hit out at arguably the most popular show on Ghanaian tv right now, Date Rush.
According to Lutterodt, the show is nothing but an avenue for some people to practice prostitution in the full glare of the public.
Lutterodt was speaking to the Daily Graphic and as usual only had negative things to say.
“You meet a guy on TV and they give you the things you can ask the guy, … all of a sudden on TV you ask the guy and he says I like you, what are the things you know about the person?
“I think that it is prostitution glorified if you ask me. That we are glorifying prostitution but using other mediums to invite people to practice ‘ashawo in disguise,” Lutterodt added.
TV3’s Date Rush program, is a reality show in which a chosen male or female contestant filters down multiple numbers of ‘date rushes’ of the opposite s*x until he/she finds their ideal date.
The show has become a social media phenomenon exponentially increasing its popularity and putting it fully under the glare of Counsellor Lutterodt.
