Coronavirus Prophecy: Ghanaians search for miraculous hair in the Bible preventing Covid-19

Hair in the Bible preventing Coronavirus, A sections of Ghanaians have been flipping the pages of their bibles with the hope of finding hair as was contained in a prophecy that it is the spiritual cure for the deadly coronavirus.

It is not known where this prophecy is coming from but many claim it was manifested through a young boy after the National Day of Fasting and Prayer on Wednesday March 25, 2020.

“Someone called to inform me that God revealed to a young man that a piece of hair has been hidden in some pages of the bible and anyone who finds it should put it in water, drink and shall not be infected by the deadly coronavirus”, a resident of Tamale told

According to what gathered, persons who are believing this so-called prophecy have since Wednesday night after the religious exercise been busying themselves with a search for the ‘miraculous healing hair’

It would be recalled that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo declared Wednesday March 25, 2020 as the National Day for fasting and prayer against the deadly Coronavirus.

Addressing the nation the third time since the outbreak, the President called on all Ghanaians to observe the day as such in order to help remedy the situation that stares the citizenry in the face.

“I urge all of us also to seek the face of almighty. So On Wednesday 25th March 2020 March, I appeal to all Ghanaians; Christians and Muslims to observe a national day of fasting and prayer. Let us pray to God to protect our nation and save us from this pandemic. I thank the men and women of God who prayed for nation with me on Thursday and the Vice President on Friday”, he lauded

Meanwhile Ghana has recorded 132 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus as at Thursday March 26, 2020.

A total of fifty-four (54) cases including three (3) deaths have been confirmed from the regular surveillance systems. All the three (3) cases that unfortunately succumbed to the disease were aged and had underlying chronic medical conditions. All the other fifty-one (51) cases are well; fourteen (14) are being managed at home and the rest are responding well to treatment on admission in isolation. They are awaiting their test results and will be discharged when the results are negative.

The great majority of the confirmed cases are Ghanaians, who returned home from affected countries. Seven (7) are of other nationals namely: Norway, Lebanon, China, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom (UK). The number of confirmed cases among travelers under mandatory quarantine who have been tested is seventy-eight (78).

In respect of contact tracing, a total of 970 contacts have been identified and are being tracked. Out of these, two hundred and four (204) have completed the 14 days mandatory follow up.
