The man at the centre of the brouhaha between Peace Fm and the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs, is kissing a goodbye to the programme in order for peace to prevail.
According to Allotey, upon a deep reflection he’s taking back seat in this whole brouhaha to allow his party, NDC to take its place on Peace Fm.
NDC has been boycotting Peace Fm for the past weeks over the continuous appearance of Allotey Jacobs on the Wednesday show.
The party claims that its former Central regional Chairman is taking the slot meant for the party.
But Allotey’s appearance on the show has been defended by show host, Kwami Sefa Kayi, saying that he was going to be part of the show and that nobody can dictate who to appear on the show.
However, Allotey this morning unceremoniously stayed away claiming that he wants peace to prevail for his party to return to the show.
He says it’s a decision he has taken after he strangely had a visitation from the late President John Evans Atta Mills, compelling to stay away till 2021 after the election.
